5K Resolution Run: Resolution Run Race startThe 5K Resolution Run will be held at 9:00AM and runs through NCSU's Centennial Campus. We borrow the "Feet for the Fight 5k" course which is a USATF certified course (certification #NC-04059-PH) run on pavement. There will be little or no vehicular traffic on the course during the run. Add to the fun by predicting your 5k finishing time before the race. Prizes for the most accurate prediction. Gift certificate awards will be presented for the 5K-only to the top three male and female overall finishers and to the top three male and female finishers in each of the following age divisions: 19-under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70-over (no duplication of awards).

The first 100 participants to pre-register will receive long-sleeve t-shirts.

Mini-Resolution Runs: The mini-resolution run will start at 10:00AM. The distances will be 100 meters for 6 and under and ¼ mile for 6-10 year olds. Parents are welcome and encouraged to run with their children. Medals will be presented to the mini-resolution run participants.
Fees: 5K Resolution Run: $15 until 12/15, $20 after.
Mini-Resolution races: $10 (regardless of registration date)

    NOTE:
    Please do not mail registration forms after Dec. 25th. Register online, or at packet pickup or race day.
  • Late entrants can register and pre-registered runners can pick up their packets at the New Balance store in Raleigh on Monday, December 28th from 4-8PM, and on race day in the finish area starting at 8:00AM

    Directions to the NCSU Centennial Campus:
    The race is staged on the plaza next to the Monteith Engineering Research Center. Click HERE for a campus map.
    Note: In the event of rain/snow, the registration & awards may be moved to the adjoining underground parking deck.
    I-40 Traveling East Take Gorman Street exit (exit 295). Turn Left onto Gorman. Go 1.3 miles and turn right at 3rd light onto Avent Ferry Road. Go 0.9 mile (2nd traffic light) and turn right onto Varsity Drive. Turn Right at the stop sign up the hill and follow signs to the race.
    I-40 Traveling West Take Lake Wheeler Road Exit (exit 297); turn right onto Lake Wheeler Road. Turn left at traffic light onto Centennial Parkway. Turn left at second traffic light (Achievement Drive), then right onto Main Campus Drive and follow to Campus Shore Drive where you can turn left or right to park.
    Inside the Raleigh I-440 Beltline Take Western Boulevard to Avent Ferry Road near the Mission Valley Shopping Center. Turn down Avent Ferry Road. Go 0.7 mile and turn left at the 2nd traffic light onto Varsity Drive. Turn Right at the stop sign up the hill (Main Campus Drive) and follow signs to the race..

    Following the races there will be plenty of refreshments near the registration area. The awards ceremony as well as a drawing for door prizes will also take place there.
